Your Perfect Winged Eye-Liner



Winged Eye-Liner is the perfect move to step-up your eye game. It is super sexy and complements all your looks. A woman with a winged eye-liner is unstoppable. It adds drama to your eyes and creates interest. It enhances your eye beauty in a way that people just can’t stop noticing it.


But applying a winged eye-liner can be tricky. Not to mention, that your wings if mismatched, can break your whole look. Lack of proficiency in its application can also make it look terrible. This is the No. 1 reason that most of the girls do not try their hands on winged eye-liners. Applying eye-liner is a craft. And anybody can master it with practice. Here we are providing you a step by step tutorial on how to apply a winged eyeliner with a smooth finish.



Method 1: Inverted Triangle


  1. Take an angled brush and dip it in your liquid liner bottle.

  2. Place it on the outer edge of your eyes and draw an inverted triangle with it.

  3. Now keep the inner edge of the triangle flowing till it touches the inner corner of your eye.

  4. Fill in the inverted triangle. And that’s it. Your perfect winged eyeliner is sitting right on your eyes.


Method 2: Using Tape


  1. Cut a tape of about 2 cm and place it on the outer edge of your eyes.

  2. You can choose any angle in which you want your eye wings to be.

  3. Now trace the path of the tape with your eyeliner brush.

  4. Extend the liner till your inner eye corner just as you would normally do.


Method 3: Spoon Method

  1. Place the handle of the spoon on the outer border of your eyes.

  2. Draw a straight line following the handle using your eyeliner.

  3. Now close your eye and put the rounded side of the spoon on your eyelids.

  4. Draw a curved line using the loop of the spoon.

  5. Fill in the empty space with eye-liner.



As a beginner, it will be difficult to make a perfect wing with your eyeliner. But with trial and error, you can learn it easily. If you make a mistake, don’t get panicked. You can correct it with a cotton pad. Take your time. Do not hassle. Always use liquid or gel eye-liners as they give an ultra-smooth finish.
