Chocolate Cake
For this recipe, you’ll need:
Chocolate - 100 gm
Eggs - 4
Butter - 75 gm
Sugar - 100 gm
Almonds - As per the wish
Steps: Melt the chocolate on hot water. In a bowl, whisk the butter and sugar together. Add 4 egg yolks in the mixture. In another bowl, take 3 egg whites and froth them. Now pour the chocolate into the butter and sugar mixture. Add the egg white mixture on top of that and mix. Pour the whole mixture in an oven tray and sprinkle flaked almonds. Bake it for 10 minutes at 175 degrees. Your chocolate cake is ready.
Coconut Burfi
Ingredients:
Desiccated Coconuts - 4 cups
Sugar Syrup - 4 Cups
Almond - 1 Tablespoon
Pistachio - 1 Tablespoon
Ghee - 1 Tablespoon
Steps: In a Kadhai, add coconut and sugar syrup. Roast it till the time it gets a thick consistency. Add almonds and pistachios. Take a tray and brush ghee on it. Now spread the coconut batter in it. Smoothen out the edges and level the layer. Let it cool down. Cut it into shapes of burfi and serve.
Apple Kheer
Ingredients:
Apples - 2
Boiled Rice - ½ cup
Saffron infused milk - 1 liter
Sugar - 50 gm
Cashew nuts and almonds - 60 gm
Red grapes - As per the wish
Steps: Chop the apples and boil them in saffron-infused milk. Cook till the apples get slightly soft. Add sugar and cashew nuts & almonds in it. Boil the mixture on a low flame. After some time, add the boiled rice in the mixture and stir. Turn down the heat and let the Kheer cool down. Garnish it with red grapes and serve.
Almond and Pistachio Shrikhand
For this recipe, you’ll need:
Milk - ½ liter
Saffron - A pinch
Hung Curd - 500 gm
Castor Sugar - 1 ½ Tablespoon
Pistachio & Almonds - 50 gm
Steps: In a pan, add milk and saffron then let it boil. Now take a bowl, and mix hung curd, castor sugar, and half of the infused milk in it. Stir it well and then add the remaining milk and mix thoroughly. Garnish it with Pistachio and Almonds. Now store it in the fridge for 4 - 5 hours and serve cold.
Chocolate Coffee Truffle
Ingredients:
Dark Chocolate Confection - 200 gm
Cooking Cream - 100 gm
Coffee Powder - 1 Tablespoon
Steps: Break the chocolate confection into pieces with the help of a knife. Pour cream and coffee in a bowl and mix it well. Microwave the mixture till the cream starts boiling. Now add the chocolate confection pieces in the mixture and let it melt. Let it cool and refrigerate overnight. Take it out from the fridge and make small balls of the mixture. Now put the balls again into the refrigerator for 1 - 2 hours. Take it out. Melt some chocolate confection in another pan and dip these balls into it one by one. Let them sit for 1 - 2 minutes. Take the balls out and refrigerate them for 10 minutes. Your chocolate coffee truffle is ready.
